The WINK 104 “Teacher of the Week” Program
Official Rules
Monday, October 5, 2009 through May 21, 2010
A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of WNNK/WINK 104, 2300 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110 during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address.
1. No purchase is necessary. Purchase does not increase the odds of winning.
2. Winning Teacher must be at least eighteen (18) years of age in order to participate and win.
3. The "Teacher of the Week" program, anyone who resides in Cumberland, Dauphin, York, Lebanon, Lancaster or Perry Counties are eligible except for employees and interns, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates of WINK 104, other participating Cumulus Media stations, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., participating sponsors, their immediate families, household members and all other radio industry employees.
4. To participate in this contest, students must nominate their favorite teacher via email or by mailing a nomination with all material filled out from the online form. Parents are only permitted to help a child if they are in 4th grade or lower. WINK 104 is not responsible for entries not received due to technical difficulties with the internet or mail services.
5. Each student is only permitted to submit one entry per school year.
6. An individual may win an on-going contest only once per six (6) month period unless otherwise specifically stated. An individual may win other seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest.
7. The contest will begin Monday, October 5, 2009 and will run through Friday, May 21, 2010. Every Tuesday morning, the WINK Wake Up Show will select a teacher from submitted nominations to become that week's "Teacher of the Week". The weekly "Teacher of the Week" will receive a $50 Gift Card to GIANT Food Stores. One Grand Prize "Teacher of the Year" will receive a vacation for two.
8. The Grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing.
9. Cumulus Media reserves the right to change any of this promotion and or the promotional elements.
10. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by random drawing or another means deemed appropriate by Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc. The Cumulus Broadcasting representative conducting the contest will determine all winners; their decisions and interpretations of these rules shall be final. If for any reason the grand prize winner cannot be contacted, or forfeits the grand prize, a random drawing from the remaining qualifiers will take place until a winner is chosen and accepts the prize. Each winner chosen will have 30 days to accept the prize.
11. All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize / prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.
12. All prizes are awarded "as is." Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for other trips, prizes or cash. No substitution prizes will be rewarded.
13. WINK 104 shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver prizes as promised.
14. All entrants and winners agree that WINK 104, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates, and sponsors shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of any prize received.
15. A valid Photo I.D. must be presented to claim prize.
16. All entry blanks, forms devices and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall become the sole property of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors to be used, disposed of or destroyed at the discretion of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors.
17. All winners agree that Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors deems necessary without compensation. All winners will be further required to hold Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors, blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast or use.
18. WINK 104 reserves the right to end a contest at any time upon advanced notice to the public.
19. Listeners may qualify only one time to win this contest.
20. WINK 104 reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win their prize.
21. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for WINK 104 to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
22. A winners list may be obtained after July 1, 2010 by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the following address:
